Love, Jealousy and some serious Vampire action. The characters are like real in your mind as you read the book. They become part of your mind and you wonder what is going to happen next. I couldn't put this book down from the moment I picked it up. Lessons became a problem because I was reading it during them.
Rose Hathaway is a daring and reckless herione and she strides to make herself known. She's a dhampir guardian in training. She's dropped everything to protect her best friend Lissa though. Lissa is a Royal Moroi orphan, the last in her line of family. She ran from St. Vladmirs Academy so Lissa would feel safe but they have been captured and taken back to St. Vladmirs. Problems arise when she returns though, since she's been gone for two years and she has a private mentor assigned to her, Dimitri Belikov, a hansome Dhampir Guardian who Rose can't seem to get out of her mind.
But what if the problem that Rose and Lissa ran away fromcould be in the Academy. Who is their friend? Who is their enemy? It will leave you shocked to your very core what some vampires would go to, to get what they want.
