I think she would make a great Charlotte because in interviews I have seen, she always seems really nice and Charlotte has to be really nice.

How do I do this?

I want to be a writer. Since I was little and I was convinced I created the story of the Three Little Pigs so much so that I wrote the story out from memory on pieces of paper and stapled them together to give to my dad to prove I had written the Three Little Pigs.

I went off on a huge dream of wanting to be an actress but I let other peoples prejudices of me get to me in my first year at Secondary School so I gave up on that dream. Then I wanted to be a musician so I started to play the guitar. Then I wanted to be a director on the off chance that I would meet Robert Pattonson and he would fall in love with me.

Then I started reading. I know, late bloomer for reading at the age of 12 but I didn't care for books before then. I shamefully admit that the first series I have read all the way through was Twilight. But I am proud to say that I never lost my love for writers.

When I was 8 years old, I watched Cyrano de Bergerac at the Royal Exchange and that was the first real expierence of the magic of theater and the amazing thing writers do.

But I rediscovered my love for writing at the age of 12. Except I can never end a story. I can't even pass the first chapter. I read and I read and. I. Read. But I can never finish the first chapter.

I know its bad and I know I can't call myself and author off of just one unfinished chapter so I ask you, my humble reader to help me. Can you give me advice for writing, it would be so awesome and greatly appreciated.

Movie Review: Anastasia

Plot:
The daughter of last Russian Tsar, Anastasia, is found by two Russian men, Dimitri and Vladimir, who seek the reward that her grandmother, Marie, promised to the ones who'll find her. But the evil mystic of the Tsar family, Rasputin, who for some reason survived in this film, still wants the Romanov family to be destroyed forever.

Review:
Okay, as evidence of my last Blog, you all know I am in love with Russia and Russian history. I know this isn't exactly Russian History but there is Russia and my two of my three favourite cities in it: St. Petersberg and Paris. Which are both in my two favourite countries. So I was partly sold and then there was a guy called Dimitri who was from St. Petersberg and then I had to watch it.
The story starts off in the Catherines Palace, where the Tsars were the siege happened. A young Dimitri saves a young Anastasia and her grandmother from the Bolsheviks who Rasputin helped by sending weird green bat ghosts to open the main gate to Palace. Anastasia hits her head and get amnisia and 10 years later she is leaving the orphanage on the way to St. Petersberg to find her family. She wants to find passage to Paris and that is when she meets Dimitri and Vlad, who are con men trying to get the money off of Anastasias grandmother for finding Anastasia.
Okay, I told you the start to the film. I loved the whole film but I don't want to give out spoilers. And I don't want to write out the whole film for you. Thats boring for both me and you.
There are loads of famous people in this film, normally with cartoons you have never even heard of one of the actors but I have heard and watched a load of the films these people made.
This film has all the characteristics of a Disney film yet not the out of control prices of a Disney film these days. I mean 20 quid for Beauty and The Beast, really, I'll really only watch it once and I have the beat up overused VHS from when I was four, I can easily climb behing my TV and hook up the video player I once got my hand caught in (I was 18 months, its acceptable). This film was 4 quid (and if you are not from the rainy shores of Britian and don't know what 'quid' is, its a colloquial word for pound) and it was on sale for cheaper than that.
I totally recommend this film for both the old generations trying to recapture child hood with princesses and catchy tunes or for kids who have an actual reason to watch it without feeling like a werido. Either way, I recommend you watch this film.

Just A Quick Question To You!!!

Recently I went on a trip to the cold cold country of Russia.

That is a picture of me on a frozen lake in Pushkin, where the last of the Romanovs were held before they were brutally murdered by the Bolshoviks.

So here is my question, who knows of any books that are about the Princesses Romanov or some fiction books about life in communist Russia for Young Adults. Russian History facinates me and I would love to read some books about them.

Next point:

I loved it in Russia and for some reason I think I belong there. Either in Moscow or St Petersburg. I would go there again and I will. Its a little promise I made to myself. I wished to go there for so long and I think I spent too little time there. 

So here is my second question, what country do you dream of going to and exploring. Somewhere where you think you might belong. I want to know, I don't care if its even Skegness, I want to know. It will help me find settings for the story I am working on.

The Hunger Games Movie

I would like to start this blog by apologising to you, my loyal 8 followers, I know I promised you more Blogs but things came up, like once in a lifetimes things so I had to seize them. But I am going to state now, that I will try better at Blogging to you, its not a promise but it is a half assed commitment.

Now on with the Review:

Plot:

Set in a dystopian future, the totalitarian nation of Panem is divided between 12 districts and the Capitol. Each year two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal retribution for a past rebellion, the televised games are broadcast throughout Panem. The 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors while the citizens of Panem are required to watch. When 16-year-old Katniss's young sister, Prim, is selected as District 12's female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart Peeta, are pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives.

Review:

Okay, not many films do the book justice, well execpt Breaking Dawn because both the book and the film were crap. But this films was a credit to Suzanne Collins epic dystopiad and hopefully this film will spark more writers to go in that direction, I know my writing has definatly taken that turn.This film showed the dictatorship of Panem brilliantly, the choice of President Snow was amazing and the way it was filmed was extrodinary.

However they missed out some key bits and added extra scenes, which I don't mind. I liked how Seneca Crane was depicted (loving the fanciful beard) and how he ran The Games. I liked the look on Gales face when Peeta and Katniss started making out. TEAM PEETA. It was inspired.

Jennifer Lawrence played the role of Katniss perfectly. I was even drawn to the character, when the day before I was listing the wrongs of Katniss Everdeen to my friend Ciara. Josh Hutcherson was looking fine as he played the amazing character of Peeta Mellark.

This book was amazing. I know, it started off really sad, I mean really sad. You meet Kate in a tough place, her mother is dying and she knows it. She would do anything to save her, she's looked after her since she was diagnosed with cancer and she knows no other life than without her mother. She moves to Eden for her mothers last wish. At first she gets on the bad side of a girl at school which leads her to meet Henry.
Kates character is incrediblyh loyal to her mother, she would do anything to keep her alive and live with her another day. She doesn't want anyones help in caring for her mother and she hates going to school and leaving her mother with the day nurse. At first when she is living with Henry, she apprehensive to start with but she gets used to it and finally likes it.
So all in all, read this book!

Review:
There is only one word to describe this film: Hilarious. This is a chick flick, and I know, I like Vampires and Bloodsucking and all that and thats why I ran down the halls of my school shouting, 'I'm a Vampire' at the top of my voice two Christmases ago (that is why people think I am a freak, but I like it) but I'm quite partial to the occasional (Okay, frequent) Romantic Teen Comedies. Especially ones that are modern retellings of classics (Clueless and 10 Things I Hate About You, to name a few). But they have to work and in my opinion, this did work, perfectly, it told a story of a girl who just wanted to blend in and was thrust into the lime light of her school when she "lost her virginity" (I stress the quotation marks very seriously) and had to deal with the whole school calling her a slut. So she does what they tell her, she pretends to be a slut, even though she really isn't, in the process, losing her best friend, breaking a marriage up and falling in love with the one person who believes and has done since she was in eighth grade.
The character of Olive is a strong character, she doesn't mind blending into the background and she jokes about it, when she is thrust into the limelight by Marianne - a religious popular girl - she is instantly noticed and is not liking the attention she is getting from a lie, but she deals with it and conforms to what they are calling her, adding a red A to all her clothing, like in the Scarlet Letter. She is quite a compassiononate character, always trying to help those who are upset, namely the boys she pretends to have sex with for Gift Vouchers. You see her at her most vulnerable at the end of the film, when everything goes wrong and her lie becomes too much. And I think that was good, because I know I wouldn't have had the strength to do that while everyone hated me.
So, all in all an A for Easy A (cheesy I know but thats what everyone needs, a bit of cheese for their day) and a definite must see people. Even people who like Vampire, you need a little sunlight once in a while. :-)

Freaking Awesome

I know I haven't posted in a while, I was in Barcelona and am still recovering from the heat and I am currently supposed to be doing a GCSE German assignment but I'd rather be reading or watching The Big Bang Theory. Totally just became hooked on it. I <3 Sheldon! Anyway, I am on IMDb looking up Mortal Instrument news because they haven't told the world who Simon or Magnus or Valentine are going to be yet and I seriously need to know who Magnus is because he is amazingly awesome and I think he should rule the world. If he weren't an imaginary character in ther awesome Mortal Instruments. If I haven't told you this already, read them, they are freaking awesome. Got two of my friends to read them this summer, Ella (Harry Potter Maniac) can vouch for me, they are FREAKING AWESOME.
But kinda getting off track here, I went down to the recommendations and found out that Fallen by Lauren Kate might be made into a movie. The reason I say might is because I couldn't find anything on her website say it would be made into a film. So I decided to get some Print Screen Proof of this:

 

I told my Blogger Best Buddy Ciara (Book Worms And Film Enthusiasts) about Alex Pettyfer and how he might be playing Daniel Grigori and she freaked out a little. She only sees him as John Smith from I Am Number Four and hates that he is all the movies. Me, I don't mind. He's fit and lovely. Not as much as Jackson Rathbone and Robert Pattinson but close.

And then, I came across these two possible films:

And if you don't already know, I love Paranormalcy, It's in my top ten books and The Beautiful Creatures are in my top fifteen books. I love all these books and I can't wait for them to become a films.

The Hunger Games Movie: Which Boy Do I Love?

Okay, I know I should apologise for not Blogging in a while but it has been the summer holidays and my computer decided to die. Sometimes I think it hates me. But while my computer has been down, I have read a lot of books. Well a lot for me anyway. And one of them was the first book in the Hunger Games, a story of a girl living in a dystopian future where 24 children each year are chosen to compete in a battle to the death. I thought it was bleeping amazing. Its not normally the kind of thing I read because, lets face it, I love Vampires and Werewolves and the whole Supernatural bizz. But this book proved me wrong in my hate of all things non supernatural, I loved the plot and I loved the characters but thats not why I am Blogging.
I read the book at two of my friends demand: Isobel and Ciara(My Blogger Buddy) and it got the point where I got so curious about these books that I just had to read them and the fact that in Maths I was learning nothing because Isobel wouldn't shut up about Peeta. I knew the film was coming out so I read the book so I knew what would be happening in the film. I Loved the book and I am currently in the process of buying the next one, as soon as my allowance comes in because I spent all of it on my birthday shopping trip with Ciara on nothing we really needed. Except Zombie tops because Zombie tops are awesome.
But still that is not why I am Blogging today, I am going a bit off subject, I am Blogging because I have a dilema. Like Twilight, there are two very very attractive boys. Peeta and Gale. Now, everyone I know has a thing for Peeta and I can see where they are coming from, he is incredibly sweet and the actor they chose to play him is quite good looking:

I mean, WoW. That boy is FINE.

I love Peeta and all and he is super sweet and he really does love Katniss. But its her best friend that I am more drawn to. However that may just because the actor who plays him is also very very attractive. I don't really know the character of Gale yet because he was only in a few scenes but he seemed nice and I think, in my mind that he also really loves Katniss but he doesn't really know how to show it. I mean look at him:

He's the one facing the camera. And he looks amazing facing it too.

But who do you prefer, Gale The Hunter or Peeta The Bakers Son with really nice Biceps?

The Demon Trappers: Forbidden by Jana Oliver

Blurb:

Review:

One of the best books I have read in a long time. Sometimes Sequels don't work out and authors tend to do the New Moon, 'wallow in self pity because my boyfriend dumped me so I could be safe and fall in love with another good paranormal boy who fights with my ex boyfriend for my love in the third one' (try saying that three times fast.) But this was nothing like it. This had adrenaline, this had love from everywhere and this book had a hell of a lot double crossing.

The book starts only a few hours after the last one left off, which is pretty cool since nothing is missed out. Riley has made her deal with heaven, she's determind to uncover who is faking the Holy Water and finding her dad and returning him to his grave. Sounds easy enough, right, but her boyfriend Simon (Nice Catholic Boy) has gone freaky, Beck (Backwoods Boy) is even more protective and annoying and Hottie Ori is protecting her from the demon who killed her father and is now out to kill her. But this book doesn't only center on Rileys story in all of this, it follows Beck and Ori too. Beck is only about keeping Riley safe and alive, while battling his feelings for her which he has to keep bottled up. Ori, is all about the Demon he has to kill to keep Riley safe, but what are his reasons. Well, I can't tell you since its so amazing why he does it. 

The characters are as amazing as in the last book. Riley is still proving that she can Trap Demons no matter what gets in her way and who is trying to stop her. Beck is just as sweet as ever, he wants to keep Riley alive and make his old trapping partners daughter safe, while harbouring the feelings he has for her. Simon, on the other hand, I could punch the boy (but I won't since he is a fictional character) and I have decided to take him off my list of boys I wish weren't fictional. He changes after the fire at the Tabernacle and not for the better.

All in all, this book was well a truly amazing and I have recommended it to my Blogger Buddy Ciara who read it only a few minutes ago and loved the whole book just as much as I did. If you can't take advice from two fourteen year old bookworms, then who can you take advice from?

Judging a Book By Its Cover

I know I haven't posted in a while, so here is my post while I wait for the delievery men to come with my books.

I know people say, 'Don't judge a book by its cover,' and I know when people say that I know they are talking about judging people so I try not to do that, but when I first see a book on Amazon, I am like a magpie, I like pretty covers, and if it has a pretty boy on the front, I'm like, 'I must have it.' But then I go to read the blurb and I am not impressed, and that is the case most of the time. Mostly because the book doesn't have Vampires or Werewolves in it. So, I'm gonna show you the prettiest covers I have in my folders of covers on my computer, along with the blurb and what I thought. I'll post three today and then carry on throughout the next few weeks

I thought this book was amazing since I had never read a book about Fallen Angels and this book was original for me at the time. I loved the characters and how some were nerdy and others were badass and some were just plain cool. This book was really good.

This book was drawing me in even before I had even heard of the Mortal Instruments, but the one thing that pushed me away was the fact that it was set in the past. I have no idea why though, I read the Mortal Instruments and then went on to read these books, and I thought this book was AMAZING.

Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

  I thought this was the funniest book I had ever read, Kiersten White made Evies world lighthearted and hilarious. The plot was amazing a long with the characters and her story.

Xavier Samuel is Rumoured to be Simon Lewis

Simon Lewis is a pretty important character in the Mortal Instruments books since he plays the best friend of Clary Fray who happens to be in love with her. He has to be geeky to start with and in the second third and fourth books he has to be all sexy and vampirey... that is not a word, as I have been told by many people.

This is Simon in the latest Mortal Instruments:

Sexy, I know.

And this is how we first meet Simon, Clarys geeky best friend:

I know, I am an artistic genius on Paint. But you get my point, I think Xavier (I love his name by the way) would make a good Simon because he can rock both looks. Plus he has had experience playing Vampires, he was Riley in Eclipse. He looked smoking hot in that too.
So people in Filmmakingland, I approve if you give the role to Xavier Samuel because I know he can rock both looks.
But, the whole point of this BlogPost is to see what you think? Do you think Xavier should play Simon?

Wolves of Mercy Falls: 3 Forever by Maggie Stiefvater

Review:
Let me just start of by saying that this is the most beautiful book I have ever read. The emotion and love that surrounds Grace and Sam is so innocent and tender that it makes me... I honestly don't know what it makes me feel, sometimes it makes me laugh, sometimes it makes me cry.
This is the third and final book in the Mercy Falls Triology and buying this book made me sad, since where the book before - Linger - left off, Sam was all alone because he had to make the choice for Grace to become a wolf so she didn't die. Sam has been facing accusations from the town of Mercy Falls, he's had the police at his door and Graces father breathing down his neck, all the while, worrying about Grace and hoping she is okay as a wolf, while missing her dreadfully. Grace is shifting in out of wolf form and by the time she contacts Sam, its too late to save her from the cold. I won't dive to far into the book because this is such a beautiful and I am clumsy with explaining things.
The characters are still the same as before. Sam is a troubled boy, trying to look for the answers, trying to figure out why the wolves chose him, why his mother would try and kill him, why his girlfriend Grace has to become a wolf when he only just stopped becoming one himself, but he never seems to find them. Grace is still about order but she loves the freedom of being a wolf, loves the language of the forest but most of all she loves Sam and would do anything to be back with him again, if she can hold on to her humanity for long enough.
By far the most emotional book I have read since Linger. The ending leaves you speechless and wanting more.

I recommend this series to all of you if you love romance and werewolves. A hundred times better than the ending of The Twilight Saga.

Review:

Oh. My. God. This is the most amazing film I have seen this year. Literally. My mind is still racing from when I saw it last night. On the first night it came out.The first thing you see is Hogwarts under the control of Headmaster Severus Snape and then it goes to the Shell Cottage where Dobby died. You see Harry by Dobbys grave and I felt really sad because Dobby is the cutest thing ever! I won't go on about the plot because if you haven't read the books or watched the film yet, you won't believe what happens because it is so amazing.

The characters are back in their amazing glory. Haryy is strong and he doesn't want his friends to die for him. Then Hermoine is strong and smart and she never gives up. Ron is typical Ron, screaming and running and making sarcastic comments which I love about him. Voldermort is evil and even more so in this film as he leads his army of Death Eaters. But I have to say my favourite character of all is: Neville Longbottom. His character is so much braver in this one and he saves his friends and the people he loves, in a cardigan. And that is why I love Neville Longbottom so much.

This film is a definate must see and if I were you, I would walk out of your house to the nearest cinema and get a seat to watch the epic finale to the Harry Potter Era!

Review:

This book was funny. This book was strange. This book had very good looking boys. It had magic. It had vampires. It had magic boys. Vampire Boys. Underground civilisations. Covens in the middle of forests. It had it all, and I loved it all.

The book starts on Anas sixteenth birthday and she is having the joy that is unidentifiable school food. She goes home to her witch mother and she has a problem. She has to preform a spell she doesn't know how to preform, infront of the whole coven. But thats not the least of her worries. Her dad, who she has never known, comes to the door and asks her to come with him. Plus she finds out that she is half vampire as well as being a witch. I found it quite funny because on top of being a teenage outcast at school, she has to choose between two lives, with her father or with her mother and they are both wanting her to choose one or the other because they hate each other.

The characters were believeable and it included a culture that I didn't know about through her friend Taylor. Ana is a quite girl who gets on with her work and keeps her head down. She knows what she has to do but she knows that she can't do it, but still she tries. Elias is a vampire gentleman guard and he is guarding her. He is quite casual and it funny because the first time they meet, he is naked, and he acts like he doesn't even mind. Nikolai is a rockstar witch boy who also is a vampire hunter who doesn't really mind that Ana is, well that is what he said. I didn't really like him as much as I liked Elias because I thought he was only after her body where as Elias was after her heart. Elias was sweet and weird. 

This book was fantastic. It was funny and has crazy vampires in it and I do like my crazy vampires. The ending is unexpected and funny. Can't wait for the second one!!!

Review:
I liked the first book but it didn't grip me so much but this book was amazing. From the first page I was like, I must finish this book so I can read the third and the one after that because I was on a constant search for answers to the questions. This book kept me reading, losing sleep and getting my laptop stolen by sister. She's evil.
The book starts six months after the first one ended. Bianca hasn't seen Lucas since she went back to the Evernight Academy. I was happy she didn't do a Bella and curl into a fetal position and throw herself off a cliff. She missed him but she stayed strong and found distractions. She kept talking to her old friends from her first year at Evernight. Lucas sends her a letter through one of her old friends and Lucas's old roomate Vic. By the way, Lucas is a Vampire Hunter, and I can say that since Bianca finds out in the first book. But things go wrong later in the book. Bianca has to find ways to get out of Evernight  to see Lucas while lying to everyone she cares about and trying to make Lucas happy and finding out why evil wraiths and spirits have come into the school and helping her friend Balthasar with Charity, his sister.
All the characters keep their original characteristics and personality which is good because it pisses me off when authors change their characters.
All in all an awesome book and I can't wait to read the next one HOURGLASS

Movie Review: Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Review:
I love Pirates of the Caribbean and have since I first watched it when I was about eight. It may have terrified me but I loved Captin Jack Sparrow and he has yet to be beat in these movies as my favourite character. This film has no Orlando Bloom or Keira Knightley because if you know the story, Will can only come on land every ten years.
This film follows the famous Jack Sparrow in his efforts to find the Fountain of Youth. He meets a woman he once dated, I thought he's met them all in the first film when he got slapped about five times. He is in a race to find it though since the man who took the Black Pearl from Jack in the first film has joined forces with the British King and they are on the hunt for the Fountain of Youth after the King hears that Spain are on their way to the fountain too.
I liked this film, not as much as At Worlds End but it was filled with sword fights and Jacks quirky lines. It was exciting and introduces more of the Pirate World than any of the other films. It introduces Mermaids and Blackbeard, the most famous pirate ever. Jack always seems to find his way out of the most difficult situations with a line or a weird mode of escape.
The characters are consistent with all of the other films. Jack is weird. Barbossa only goes after what he wants. Gibbs is loyal to Jack. And the new characters follow the typical Pirate stereotypes, untrusting and after gold. Angelica has her own motives and hates Jack after he said he loved her and left her on her own. She wants to go to the Fountain of Youth to save her father from death because she wants to know him.
A must see movie if you like the Pirates of The Caribbean. Even without Will and Elizabeth, it is still amazing. Plenty of sword fights and double crossing and Jacks famous compass.

Review:
One word: WOW. Ohmigod, I adored this book. I mean full on fell in love with the book. I thought it would be your average Joe forbidden love, where they probably end up dying in the end, you know, Shakespeare wannabes. But no, this was filled with people wanting to kill each other and Gods and Zeus and places you go in your sleep but your actually there and its so confusing but in a really good way.
Okay, first you start off with Helen, thinking she's human and has a pretty normal life, she knows she's a bit different because she can run really fast but a lot of people can. Thats until she gets annoyed by a name and she doesn't even know why. And then she sees a very pretty boy but all she wants to do is kill him. In the middle of the school hallway. Which she tries to do. Without much luck. She doesn't understand why she wants to kill him because she has never seen him in her life. It turns out that it is because they are desendants of ancient Greek Gods, which I thought was pretty cool because I've never read a book about Gods and Goddesses. But one night they save each others life and suddenly the need to kill each other goes. Which is good because the thing that kept going through my mind was 'This book is going to end with them dying.' But then they loose the will to kill each other and seem to fall in love which was good because I loved the characters.
Helen is a shy girl who doesn't like causing trouble and hates attention. She wants to get off the island of Nantucket (which I never knew was an island, I'm rubbish at Geography) and go to college, which doesn't happen in most books. People just want to get away from their families and then they fall in love with Vampires and become Vampires and get into trouble with other Vampires or Werewolves. Then there is the character of Lucas, at first I didn't like him to start with and then he became sweet and loving and protective after they saved each others lives. You see that he cares about his family and that he wants to keep Helen out of harms way. He was so sweet.
The ending surprised me and I was like WOW i never saw that but there was another part that I knew was going to happen.
A new take on the Greek Gods and a new addition to my Series's to watch! It was amazing and I am recommending it to everyone
