Welcome! This is The Review, my review on YA books that I have read. I try to Blog on every book I read after I read them and I read as fast as I can but it takes me a while to read a book if it's long. I use books to escape and I hope you can escape into books yourself because it's the best place to be for me, even though most of the books I read are quite dark. Just warning you. Leave comments!

The Body Finder: 2 Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting

Blurb:
The missing dead call to Violet. They want to be found.
Violet can sense the echoes of those who've been murdered—and the matching imprint that clings to their killers. Only those closest to her know what she is capable of, but when she discovers the body of a young boy she also draws the attention of the FBI, threatening her entire way of life.
As Violet works to keep her morbid ability a secret, she unwittingly becomes the object of a dangerous obsession. Normally she'd turn to her best friend, Jay, except now that they are officially a couple, the rules of their relationship seem to have changed. And with Jay spending more and more time with his new friend Mike, Violet is left with too much time on her hands as she wonders where things went wrong. But when she fills the void by digging into Mike's tragic family history, she stumbles upon a dark truth that could put everyone in danger.

Review:
I loved the first one and thought nothing could live up to it but Derting outdid herself. I loved this book more than the Body Finder for the intregue but not as much for the ending. The Body Finders ending had my heart thumping in my chest but this one had me just gasping for air. But otherwise it was a great book. I liked the plot and how the FBI came into it all. I liked the psyhcopath after her and I loved her and Jay.
A great sequel to The Body Finder.
