Welcome! This is The Review, my review on YA books that I have read. I try to Blog on every book I read after I read them and I read as fast as I can but it takes me a while to read a book if it's long. I use books to escape and I hope you can escape into books yourself because it's the best place to be for me, even though most of the books I read are quite dark. Just warning you. Leave comments!

Mortal Instruments: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

Blurb:
When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing - not even a smear of blood - to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know....

Review:
I loved this book from start to end. I did not like when my friend Ciara (Pronouced Kyra) told me the main part of the plot. So going to start calling her Ce-arrr-raa. But that whole suspence of Valentines impending doom and Jace and The Shadowhunters it really was a heartstopping, adernaline pumping read.
Clary thinks shes normal and I think (in my opinion) that is really original because normally they know they are different or something strange is going to come out of the blue. Then she finds out that she can see people, other people can't see. She finds out her best friend is in love with her and her mother is a Shadowhunter. Or Ex and she was married to someone before her father. A father who she had never met.
