Welcome! This is The Review, my review on YA books that I have read. I try to Blog on every book I read after I read them and I read as fast as I can but it takes me a while to read a book if it's long. I use books to escape and I hope you can escape into books yourself because it's the best place to be for me, even though most of the books I read are quite dark. Just warning you. Leave comments!

Shadow Falls: Born At Midnight by C.C. Hunter

Blurb:
One night Kylie Galen finds herself at the wrong party, with the wrong people, and it changes her life forever.  Her mother ships her off to Shadow Falls—a camp for troubled teens, and within hours of arriving, it becomes painfully clear that her fellow campers aren’t just “troubled.”  Here at Shadow Falls, vampires, werewolves, shapshifters, witches and fairies train side by side—learning to harness their powers, control their magic and live in the normal world.
Kylie’s never felt normal, but surely she doesn’t belong here with a bunch of paranormal freaks either.  Or does she?  They insist Kylie is one of them, and that she was brought here for a reason.  As if life wasn’t complicated enough, enter Derek and Lucas.  Derek’s a half-fae who’s determined to be her boyfriend, and Lucas is a smokin’ hot werewolf with whom Kylie shares a secret past.  Both Derek and Lucas couldn’t be more different, but they both have a powerful hold on her heart.
Even though Kylie feels deeply uncertain about everything, one thing is becoming painfully clear—Shadow Falls is exactly where she belongs…

Review:
Funny. Sexy. And adictive. This book is a fantastic start to a series I am looking forward to following. The book tells the story of Kylie and everything is going down hill for her. Then her parents send her to this camp for freaks. Yeah, I would be annoyed too. Well, I wouldn't because there are two fitt guys there and its a camp for Supernaturals and I love all things Supernatural.
The characters are believeable in the sense that it shows all cultures and different people trying to deal with what they have been dealt. It shows different styles and everything within the whole plot.
The plot is fantastic because Kylie makes it good. Some bits are a bit out there but in a good way and you think,'Wow, what just happened was weird but awesome.' Then there are really heart warming bits and others that will make you growl because you know exactly what its like. In a human sense.
Awesome Book!
